Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine.

 

 

Dr. Patel was raised in London, England, United Kingdom. He graduated there with honors from Guys, Kings & St. Thomas University Medical School, Kings College with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Anatomy, and later received his medical degree there as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.   Dr. Patel continued his training In London, and completed his internship as House Surgeon (Orthopedic; Vascular/General Surgery) at Guys and St. Thomas University Hospitals Trust and  residency in Emergency Medicine at Kings College University.  He later completed a fellowship as Clinical Fellow Medicine, University Hospital Lewisham, Lewisham, United Kingdom.

 

 

Dr. Patel moved to the United States, and completed an internship and residency in the Department of Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. He then completed a fellowship as Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow in the Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Division, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, and another fellowship as Sleep Fellow, Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology, University of Pennsylvania. He served as Assistant Professor of Medicine, Divisions of Sleep Medicine & Pulmonary, Allergy & Critical Care Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, and also received his Master of Public Health degree from University of Pennsylvania.
